Virtual Flight Surgeons, Inc. and Aviation Medicine Advisory Service comply with the requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996.  Although our practice is unique in character and process from other medical practices, protecting each of our client's privacy is of paramount importance to our staff.  Many of the HIPAA provisions do not apply to our practice, as we do not perform examinations, order tests, issue prescriptions, make diagnoses or render treatment.  However, we actively take every feasible step to protect each of our client's privacy, including compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
